Significant events at a glance
See the latest significant event with its magnitude, location, origin time, depth, reporting source and available tsunami status. Open the details for a closer look.
Follow significant earthquakes around the world — and understand how the reports evolve.
Global Quake+ brings together earthquake information from established seismic agencies, with maps, personalised notifications and tsunami assessments where available. Reports from multiple sources are brought together to help you follow each event as more information becomes available.
Currently in external TestFlight testingWhether you follow earthquakes regularly or want clear information when a significant event occurs, Global Quake+ helps you understand what happened, where it happened and how the available information is changing.

Browse recent earthquakes worldwide. Filter history by intensity, magnitude or region, then open an event to explore its details and map location.
Choose a minimum magnitude and a global or regional focus. Use your current or saved location and optionally limit notifications by distance.
See reports from different agencies connected to the same earthquake. Follow revisions in Report History, with the source identified for each report.
See the current event’s magnitude, source and distance from your location, together with whether a tsunami bulletin is available.

See recent earthquakes from around the world, with their locations, reporting sources and updates. History can also be filtered by region, magnitude or intensity.

Open an earthquake to see its location on a map, with the reported time, depth and any available tsunami assessment.

Early earthquake reports can change as agencies gather and analyse more data. Magnitude, depth, epicentre and origin time may be revised, and different agencies may report different estimates.
Global Quake+ correlates reports about the same earthquake into a single event. Its Report History preserves earlier reports and identifies their sources, so you can see how the information developed. As updated reports arrive, another report can become the preferred report while previous reports remain available.

When available, Global Quake+ presents tsunami warnings, advisories and other assessments associated with an earthquake, including no-threat information.
Explanatory text from the source can provide additional context—for example, distinguishing the possibility of a tsunami near an epicentre from an expected impact on a particular country.
Global Quake+ presents information from seismic agencies and tsunami warning centres. It does not issue official warnings itself.
Available on iPhone and iPad, with Apple Watch support.
Explore earthquake details on a map and use your current or selected location to understand how far away an event occurred.
Global Quake+ incorporates earthquake information from the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), GeoNet New Zealand, Indonesia’s Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG), Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA), the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), and the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA).
Tsunami information and assessments are also incorporated where available, including information from the U.S. Tsunami Warning System (tsunami.gov). Coverage and available details vary by source and event. This app is not affiliated with those agencies.
Global Quake+ is an independent app. Arkbridge Apps does not operate a seismic network or tsunami warning centre.
